So we thought we'd tackle #1 on the list next... Take A Stroll Down Brighton Pier!
Really, how could you come to this seaside city and not walk with your peers down the pier? Robert and Tyler had a wander before Tamara and Erin arrived, but we imagine this will be an activity we may repeat, as we did today! Our plan was to tackle this task at the same time as starting our Instagram project: 30 days of movie moments, and grab some proper English fish and chips on the way.
Leaving Tamara to continue her fabulous flyering at Fringe City (she had a good social swing dance too), the stroll down was really quite lovely, given that it's been a bit cold and gusty. Being a Saturday at the start of festival season, there was a bit of a crowd, but the line for the fish and chips wasn't too bad - plus, they'd run out of small boxes, so we scored a large fish and chips each! Honestly, these boxes were so enormous that none of us could finish them. Not bad for a cheap and cheerful meal!
After that, we walked right up to the end of the pier. We were tempted to jump on the vigorous show rides but after discussing it, we realised that our stomachs (and bladders) may not survive the ordeal after our ginormous lunch, so we continued our meander through the happy hoi polloi to take our first iconic film picture. If you don't recognise the scene, we might have to point and bust di-cap(rio) in yo ass...
