BRIGHTON FRINGE 2015
Hosted by Otherplace Productions, P&S took Brighton by storm, with a little help from Nione Meakin. Performing over the whole month of May, they won not only an Argus Angel, but took the top Argus Archangel Award for 2015!
Thankyou to our Brighton supporters & new friends.
LONDON PREMIERE 2015
Thanks to The King's Head Theatre in Islington, P&S trekked their many costumes and instruments to the London stage for one show only. A real treat, we are very grateful for this opportunity and would return in a heartbeat.
FRINGE WORLD 2015
Invited to perform for the 2015 festival, the P & S cast enjoyed reprising the production in their home town once more, to sell out houses, with a slicker, tighter show.
PERTH & BUSSELTON FARWELL SHOW 2015
Due to popular demand the production returned for two performances only in Perth and an additional two toured to Busselton. Our farewell to our hometown before jetsetting to Brighton!
The production was invited to the Brisbane Festival 2014 and played to sell out houses at La Boite Studio as part of their curated season of award winning national and international independent theatre.
Sneaking in three performances only, to delightfully intimate audiences, Point & Shoot won the Musical Theatre & Cabaret Award for the 2014 Sydney Fringe Festival.
"A deliciously wicked romp with great songs and plenty of surprises"
Richard Hyde - Perth Theatre Reviews
FRINGE WORLD PREMIERE
Point & Shoot premiered at Fringe World 2014, taking away the Artrage Theatre Award and the covetted Martin Sims Award for Best New WA Work.
The Fringe World judges praised the 'engaging and slick cast' and said the 'American style musical wowed on multiple levels'.
"All four actors need to be commended... their enthusiasm and dedication in portraying over 50 roles ensured for a seamless prodction... A firecraker production."
Elodie Boal - Brisbane Times
"Four multi-tasking, multi-talented actors play fifty-four characters and a dozen musical instruments, sing one clever, witty song after another, and (good grief!) tell a comedic, satirical story about the film industry! "
Michael Brindley - Stage Whispers
The P&S cast and crew received rave five star reviews for their successful run at Revolt Melbourne Artspace.
"There wasn’t even a second in the play which wasn’t filled with humour and brilliance... I must confess that I secretly wished for it to start all over again while I was applauding."
